In February ATSA responded to the challenge from HunterNet Patron Member, Tomago Aluminium, to organise a program for
donations to the Victoria Bushfire Appeal.
Staff donated a total of $1050 to bushfire
victims and ATSA matched the donation 2 for 1 for a total donation of $3150.
Based on a vote the donations was split half to the Red Cross and half to the
wildlife appeal.
ATSA staff joined with all Australians
who have been touched by the natural devastation in Victoria and Queensland
over the past few weeks. We have been personally astounded at the ferocity
of the Victorian Bushfires and the ability of the community to respond in times
of need. Our thoughts are with those fellow Australians who now have to
re-build their lives following this tragedy.
